In turn, this enables us to offer unrivalled service and value, together with extended manufacturer warranties across both ranges. In recent years, and in response to customer demand, we have added both commercial gas heating and electrical divisions. When Bob Gormley, our Head Tutor, was working on a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Cornell University, he needed access to a medieval manuscript in the Cambridge University Library. Since Cornell wanted him to stay in New York to teach their undergraduates, Bob was ironically forced to go on leave from his Ph.D. in an attempt to finish the degree. An American rather than a British citizen at the time, Bob had to start a business to support himself so that he could live in the UK. So, in 2005, Bob built on previous test prep teaching experience he'd had in New York to start S.T. Logic, which quickly became the most popular tutoring company in London for American standardized test prep. As a result, Bob never finished the Ph.D. dissertation, even though he wrote about 800 pages of it...in Latin. In addition to the Master's degree he earned at Cornell, he does have two more Master's degrees (with distinction from Columbia University and London Business School) to go along with his quadruple major summa cum laude -- four majors with highest honors -- from his undergrad at Wheaton College, a small liberal arts college in the US. In 2022, the company changed its name to UpGraded Tutoring and continues to offer the outstanding tuition for which S.T. Logic was known. We offer lessons for the ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and school work for the American, British, and International Baccalaureate curricula. Positive Psychology Training was founded by Miriam Akhtar MAPP in 2010 to put positive psychology into practice and has become one of the leading providers of positive psychology training and coaching in the UK. Our clients range across the business and not-for-profit sectors along with social enterprises and include healthcare, financial services, the creative industries, education, green business, environment, defence, law and the media. As we move into our second decade the focus is on how positive psychology can help people perform at their best, help businesses to grow and provide a scientifically-based solution to many of the challenges that organisations face. We also run short, open courses combining the essential knowledge and practical tools of positive psychology in a format that works for busy lives. These courses went online during the pandemic. The Positive Psychology Masterclass has an introductory course based on the PERMA model and an advanced course on positive psychology at work. Keith played an integral role in the evolution of the tax administration system in The Bahamas. Keith formerly headed the Department of Inland Revenue’s office in Grand Bahama, having joined the Value-Added Tax Implementation Project as a consultant in April 2014. He served as the Director of Tax Policy with the Department of Inland Revenue in New Providence from September 2017 until November 2021. Considered by many as the premier authority on taxation in The Bahamas in general and Value Added Tax in particular, Keith was instrumental in interpreting and applying tax laws and policy, participating in negotiations with major investors and taxpayers. In addition to his accounting qualifications, Keith holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree and completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal practice (GDLP) from the Australian National University in Canberra.

Cambian is one of the largest providers of specialist education and behavioural health services for children in the UK. Our services have a specific focus on individuals who present with high severity needs. We provide a broad range of specialist services across England. These services include specialist education schools and colleges for both day and residential learners, residential care homes and a therapeutic fostering service. Our specialist education schools and colleges support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger Syndrome (AS), moderate to severe learning disabilities, associated challenging behaviours and complex needs. Our specialist residential care homes support children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and associated complex needs. We provide care, therapy and education for a discrete cohort of needs within these homes; this includes provisions for children who have experienced complex trauma (neglect and abuse), those who have been sexually exploited, and those with a learning disability. These homes are all supported by specialists schools to support their individual educational needs. We also run a therapeutic fostering service through which we are able to support children with a variety of complex needs within a family environment. We recognise that each child is an individual with their own needs, desires and dreams, and we are fully committed to supporting each child to enable them to achieve ‘their personal best’. With such a broad range of services and an extensive focus on independent learning and living, employability and social skills, where appropriate we are able to support children through into their adult life.

Both of us are passionate about Australian quilting, sewing patterns and Cottage Garden hand dyed embroidery threads. We have over 1000 patchwork, quilting and sewing patterns in stock and our range is still growing! We love that some of the Australian quilt and sewing pattern designers also design fabric too. A few of the Australian designers whose patterns we stock include Lynette Anderson Anni Downs of Hatched and Patched, Gail Pan, Fig ‘n’ Berry, Marg Low, Carolyn Murfitt of Freebird, One Day in May, Wendy Williams of Flying Fish, Jen Kingwell, Hares Nest and Natalie Bird of The Birdhouse.
