When Bob Gormley, our Head Tutor, was working on a Ph.D. in Philosophy at Cornell University, he needed access to a medieval manuscript in the Cambridge University Library. Since Cornell wanted him to stay in New York to teach their undergraduates, Bob was ironically forced to go on leave from his Ph.D. in an attempt to finish the degree. An American rather than a British citizen at the time, Bob had to start a business to support himself so that he could live in the UK. So, in 2005, Bob built on previous test prep teaching experience he'd had in New York to start S.T. Logic, which quickly became the most popular tutoring company in London for American standardized test prep. As a result, Bob never finished the Ph.D. dissertation, even though he wrote about 800 pages of it...in Latin. In addition to the Master's degree he earned at Cornell, he does have two more Master's degrees (with distinction from Columbia University and London Business School) to go along with his quadruple major summa cum laude -- four majors with highest honors -- from his undergrad at Wheaton College, a small liberal arts college in the US. I spent the early part of my career involved with commercial projects of varying size in the UK and overseas. More recently, I had the opportunity to indulge my true passion for old buildings whilst working with Donald Insall and Associates in the Chester and Shrewsbury branches. I relish the challenge of problem solving involved with manipulating existing buildings to accept new uses and love to see old buildings sitting harmoniously alongside modern extensions. Since then I have had the pleasure of working solely in the domestic sector and have a real passion for bringing well designed domestic projects to life. I enjoy delivering bespoke architectural solutions to smaller scale projects where I can provide the care and attention required to make a house a home. There is real joy in taking a Client through the design and build process to realise their dream home. My real ‘joie de vivre’ are transformative projects that look at the whole house to make the rooms and spaces flow and reveal a beautiful home where there may have stood an uninspiring building. In addition to his accounting qualifications, Keith holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree and completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal practice (GDLP) from the Australian National University in Canberra.

Our services have a specific focus on individuals who present with high severity needs. We provide a broad range of specialist services across England. These services include specialist education schools and colleges for both day and residential learners, residential care homes and a therapeutic fostering service. Our specialist education schools and colleges support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger Syndrome (AS), moderate to severe learning disabilities, associated challenging behaviours and complex needs. Our specialist residential care homes support children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and associated complex needs. We provide care, therapy and education for a discrete cohort of needs within these homes; this includes provisions for children who have experienced complex trauma (neglect and abuse), those who have been sexually exploited, and those with a learning disability. These homes are all supported by specialists schools to support their individual educational needs. We also run a therapeutic fostering service through which we are able to support children with a variety of complex needs within a family environment. We recognise that each child is an individual with their own needs, desires and dreams, and we are fully committed to supporting each child to enable them to achieve ‘their personal best’. What we have endeavoured to do is to take all the good things that we have seen in other diving centres and incorporate them into how we run Tenerife Scuba. We work on the basis that if it's not good enough for us then it's just not good enough.
