Our vision at Soma Earth is to use our platform to offer modalities of self-empowerment and creative expression to as many people as possible. We want to be offering workshops and events all across the country, and we want a network of people who are all spreading their medicine. We want to help bring in a culture where individuals struggling with mental health have a platform to express their authenticity creatively and use holistic wellbeing practices to find peace, rather than relying on pharmaceutical products. Creativity is a healing practice, and we want people to know how to spark the inner flame. In order for this vision to come to fruition, we are currently working on many projects which seek to manifest these goals.

I would like to thank you for taking time to visit us online and wish you a very warm welcome to the Malmesbury School website. I am delighted to be the Headteacher of Malmesbury School. The school’s long tradition of exceptional work with young people, in a caring and nurturing environment, places it amongst the very best schools in the country. I have a strong connection to the school, having worked here in the past as a faculty head for International Business and Languages. I then left Malmesbury to become an Assistant Headteacher at Balcarras School, in Cheltenham. Having a focus on Key Stage 5 enabled me to lead the sixth form from strength to strength. Before my exciting return to Malmesbury as Headteacher, I was the sole Deputy Headteacher at Burford School, one of very few state boarding schools in the country.

Our sessions are open to all and aim to increase access to nature. We are committed to providing high quality forest school sessions with a percentage of subsidised and free places on every programme, delivering in accessible spaces and developing strong communities around each programme. Research shows that the closer we get to nature, the happier we are, the more worthwhile life seems, and the more we are willing to take action to help our wildlife and the environment. With a focus on increasing accessibility to forest school and natural spaces, we also deliver free holiday sessions for children receiving free school meals and those with additional needs, as part of Lincolnshire County Council’s Holiday Activities and Food Scheme. We provide inclusive sessions for families with autistic children and funded forest school sessions in inner city areas. We also deliver forest school programmes for home educating families, holiday clubs and in schools. Our parent and child groups introduce children and families to nature play and activities based on forest school principles. We continue to extend our provision, to offer more free and subsidised places, develop a volunteer programme for young leaders and offer sessions to adults and families that support mental health and wellbeing.

An interdisciplinary UK based visual artist, educator and researcher exploring the potential breaking disciplinary boundaries and finding new ways to approach communication. Exploring how art and science can come together to benefit our health and wellbeing. Sarah has a personal interest in Neurology and Neuro diversity due to having drug resistant Epilepsy. Artist's Practice: Sarah L Goy MA, (Dis) - Animation Production. Sarah initially studied Fine Art and then Natural History Illustration, she now embraces the potential of the moving image. Her focus has always been on emotions, nature and her environment, with a specialisation in drawing and painting from life. Inspired by her travels she aims to capture every day moments in her sketch books, which are the foundations for all her other works. Although taking an analogue and tactile approach to her practice Sarah has become interested in the possibilities and potential of technology, experimental animation and the moving image and how they might be used beyond pure entertainment. This became part of her post graduate research in 2021 and continues to be the core of her research interest. As a visiting lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth ( AUB) and Southampton Art Gallery, she creates and presents new courses, with the emphasis on ' art for all'. Encouraging students to enjoy the process of creating and getting in touch with their inner child. Sarah also creates and runs online art therapy styled creative sessions, again, encouraging a sense of play through which new skills are gained, whilst encouraging a sense of community and inclusivity.
