Hello and welcome! I’m delighted you found me here in my little corner of the internet. When I started blogging in 2010 on a very clunky laptop, I had no clue at all that Poppy Loves London and all that it encompasses, would become my full time and very much loved job. Here you’ll find me writing about things I love now and have loved over the years, including my favourite fashion finds, travel destinations, recipes, homeware and coffee haunts. I’ve written endlessly about cosy cafes to hide away in and fancy restaurants for celebrations, my latest beauty finds, bakeries (the cake!) gorgeous interiors, books I’ve adored and all things knitwear. Oh, and jumpsuits. (Oh, and dresses…) And of course, you can’t shut me up about my home city, London. What a place it is… I have over a decade of experience in working in branding, social media and communications so I understand the influencer world from both sides, which has been incredibly valuable over the years and has meant that I have been able to work with and support some of my favourite brands and businesses. Having this background in business has also enabled me to set up my Instagram Masterclasses for Small Businesses and my Instagram Course for Small Businesses. Helping people drive more business and revenue via their Instagram accounts is something I’m immensely proud of – I’ve loved every second. I live in Walthamstow, London with my husband and daughter, Isabelle, who was born in 2018. After a fairly traumatic few months for us all, while she suffered enormously with reflux, we all popped out the other end with a huge sigh of relief and she is now a proper walking, talking human and the funniest person I know. She can also out-eat me in crumpets, which you should know, is exceptionally impressive. Thank you for all your support over the years, through the ups and downs, through pregnancy and pandemics – it’s been such a pleasure to write for you all and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings… Eva x

We are a pioneering community-led learners' co-operative focused on improving the educational, physical and social well-being of children and families contextualised within family and community empowerment. We are commonly known as uLearn Naturally Learners' Co-operative. We are an umbrella organisation serving collectives with assistance in forming Abundance Centres Member Trusts. We also work to build various kinds of educational infrastructure to support our Member Trusts and the general public. These infrastructure works are mainly related to our Home-School-Knowledge Exchange project and our emerging uLearn Naturally Media Services. In general the objectives of the Trust are to carry out activities which benefit the communities of UK and members of the Trust in regard to community engagement, family directed learning and personal development in the realms of education, well-being and social networking. In particular, our mission is to establish and maintain centres of service with the principles and general intention of bringing about better community engagement, creativity, cross-curricular learning and/or unified ways of coming to know that which specifically enables and enriches the learning of the sciences and maths through the arts, intelligent play and the dissemination of wholistic (nature-centric) pedagogical (learning) practices. Magenta Occupational Therapy is an independent occupational therapy practice based in the West Midlands, owned and operated by Louise Baudet. Louise graduated with a first class Honours degree in Occupational Therapy, with a special interest in working with children and young adults with a wide range of mental health difficulties, as well as neurological difficulties. She has worked extensively with children with special needs providing assessments and interventions, as well as reports for EHCP's, DLA/PIP applications etc. Her career includes working for the NHS, as well as the private sector, third tier organisations and also education. This has included a range of settings including Tier 4 inpatient, community, education, Crisis, Eating Disorders, Psychosis and young people with trauma and attachment. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist in both mental health and paediatrics. Louise is registered with the Health Professionals Council (HCPC) and also a Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy. She is also a member of the Sensory Integration Network and the Association for Psychological Therapies. She continues to do voluntary work to support children and families. Louise has also been a School Governor and worked within education, bringing a knowledgeable perspective to her work when working with schools. She understands many of the challenges and perspectives faced by children, young people and families on a day to day basis. When working with families she advocates a strengths based approach through her work, to ensure that a childs' positive qualities are used as a firm foundation for their future.

We are a newly formed Edinburgh baseball community club open to all over-16s and adults who are interested in the sport. You can join us regardless of gender or your level of experience in baseball. Our practice sessions are free and atmosphere always welcoming. Winter training is NOW on Sundays. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining us. Players are the most important people in the sport. Playing for the team, and for the team to win, is the most fundamental part of the game. But not winning at any cost. Fair play and respect for all others in the game are also fundamentally important. Players should be aware of their obligations towards training and the game. Feel stressed? Burned out? or worried? Neti Neti, meaning, "Not this, Not that", is the method of Vedic analysis of negation which takes away not only the problem but the root of the cause as well. Neti Neti is a keynote of Vedic inquiry. It explains an expression of something inexpressible, it expresses the ‘suchness’ (the essence) of that which it refers to when ‘no other definition applies to it’. Neti Neti was practised by Advaita sages who where able to be aware of everything that moves as well as being aware of the the stillness which was previously unknown. Neti-Neti is one of the oldest meditation techniques in the world. You do not have to be an expert. A beginner can enjoy the benefit from the wisdom of Neti-Neti. It is now available to anyone seeking freedom in the knowledge of true self. Neti Neti is a process of selective non-attention to a aspect of the total field of awareness. This is unique compared to other traditions. The series of contemplations in the Cula-Sunnata Sutta Buddhist sacred texts and the ancient Vedas refer to experiencing through Neti-Neti a direct experience with the vast fascinating void. Each stage in Neti Neti we are adding nothing new, but simply removing attention from some aspect of the previous contemplation. There is nothing new to attain, and nowhere to go but to be completely aware.The best way to understand each stage of Neti-Neti is that it is what is left when you remove the previous object of attention. It is amazing to see what we have missed because our attention was somewhere else. Just as a huge sky is delusional, if it believes it is a small cloud. Neti Neti allows the rays of understanding to pierce through the cloud to enable the sky to appear as clear as it is - clear as day. All the small things that niggle at us throughout the day causes distress and suffering. The free meditation classes will allow the small things dissolve in feeling the presence of that vastness.
