Having practised kinesiology for over 10 years, I have supported clients with varying health problems including digestive, fertility, hormonal, stress, structural/joint issues, skin conditions as well as clients in pain. I love seeing the progress of individuals who have felt the benefit of the session. I give guidance and support for lifestyle and nutritional changes so clients can make informed decisions on improving their health and wellbeing. I am also passionate about delivering both the Foundation and Diploma courses in kinesiology. Southend Adult Community College (SACC) is Southend Borough Council’s provider of adult education, providing education and training to more than 5,000 learners. SACC provides 100s of part-time leisure courses, English, maths, employability courses, traineeships, vocational qualifications, CPD and industry specific training for adults and for young people 16+ apprenticeships and full-time vocational programmes. SACC provides community outreach provision and family learning in local community venues and employee training and assessment on employer premises. SACC has three activity centres, its main Southchurch Centre, an adult centre at Belfairs Academy in Leigh and a specialist centre for young adults with complex and profound learning difficulties and disabilities in Westcliff. At our last Ofsted inspection, SACC was judged for the second time as a good college with outstanding features. Key findings are: • success rates have improved over the last few years and many are well above national rates • learners develop good practical, vocational and employability skills. They make good progress in developing these skills • learners on study programmes do well. The college has made a significant contribution to reducing the number of young people in the borough who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) • staff are particularly effective at finding good work placements for learners on employability programmes. Stewart & Jimmy are obsessed with football and helping develop all ages and levels throughout the beautiful game. At the they highlighted that many coaches struggled to plan and develop their own football coaching practices and sessions. Being involved in the professional game and drawing upon personal experiences they started to create and build a library of video coaching content that could really benefit coaches at all levels of the game. The platform gives coaches access to hundreds of coaching practices and full sessions on video that are perfect for grassroots football coaching and up to the elite levels of the game from U5 – Adults. Not only do coaches get unlimited access to the existing library, brand new content is added each week to help keeping coaching sessions fresh and exciting. The practices and sessions have been created and developed by a range of top quality professional coaches working at the highest levels of the game from first team to academy age groups. All too often unfortunately we see businesses who focus on customers now and again but not tapping into the detail or emotions that go along with delivering something special for your customers. I started DM Training in 2006 to help put some of my experiences and knowledge into practice and deliver training to help businesses rise to the ever increasing challenges we come across in today’s market place. Having my own business has been a real life challenge but the rewards personally have been exciting and it has enabled me to look at the things in life that really matter. Firstly, I have learnt that in order to capture your audience when in a training role, make it fun and appealing to everyone. Doesn’t matter the subject area, if its not captured your audience then it is not being effective. Secondly - you can if you think you can. By delivering training using this principle you can deliver effective training that matters and get results.
