Priority Care was founded in 1987 by old friends and business partners, Andy Prior Snr. & Benny Reilly when they opened St Vigean’s Care Home in Arbroath. Caring for adults with learning disabilities, their focus from day one was to support and enable their clients in all aspects of their life whilst making them feel completely at home. Over the coming years Ben & Andy continued to develop and improve the company, acquiring and building new care homes in Tayside, Perthshire and Aberdeenshire. One of their proudest moments was opening their first purpose built facility, Harestane Care Home in 1995. Being built in Harestane Rd, Dundee this had a special meaning for Andy who had grown up with his brothers and sisters across the road and had many happy memories of playing along the Dighty Burn. By the late 90’s Andy & Ben’s sons and daughters had joined the family run business in a variety of different roles from caring to building maintenance. Andy’s eldest daughter, Veronica was appointed as Director of the groups care training company in 2005. Co-founder Ben left the company in 2010 after almost 25 years to pursue his passion for antiques opening a large antiques centre in Perthshire. Along with their team, Andy’s eldest son and daughter, Andy & Veronica have run the business since 2011 with a focus on maintaining the high quality of care Priority Care provides. On to its third generation, two of Andy Snr’s grandchildren now work in the homes. After being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, Andy Snr sadly passed away in Meigle Country House in 2018. Priority Care is his legacy which he, his good friend and family, along with their team, have worked tirelessly to build. Something we are all so proud of today. The Priority Care team is now almost 300 strong and cares for over 200 clients.

Knitted by Lw was created back in 2018 whilst on Maternity leave with my Son Archie. My background is in Fashion and Textiles design, obtaining a 1st Class hons in this subject but specialising in Knitwear my specialist area were hand and machine knitting. I went onto freelancing in swatch design, pattern writing and many other creative roles. Why Chunky Merino Wool? I fell in love with the softness and luxurious quality of Merino wool – I have always been fascinated by various wool yarns, this certain yarn is so versatile and being SUPER chunky it is satisfying to you use as the knit grows so quickly! Which is a bonus. It started with my Signature Chunky heart wreaths, I continued to develop my ideas. I started off for my blankets using Chunky Metre Long wooden Knitting needles, then came across the art of Arm knitting via a tutorial I came across. I then decided to venture on with this idea and started my Arm knitting Workshop classes, Fast forward 2 years later minus the few lockdowns Knitted by Lw workshops are more successful and are constantly growing and becoming popular. As you can Imagine I started to take over the house, My talented husband Ryan came to my rescue and built me my very own garden studio (He is the best!) this is where I also run small intermit workshops – my happy place! Thank you, Thank you! I would just like to say a massive thank you to every single person who has support me over the years, from buying my chunky knitted creations to attending one or two of Arm knitting workshop. It means so much, I am forever grateful.

I thought I would share a few things about myself, to help you get to know me before we work together: I have come to coaching, counselling and mindfulness training via a long career in Human Resources, in which I worked my way up to HR Director level. I have personal experience of the pressures, and joys, of a senior business role, and have worked as colleague, HR support and coach to some high performing board, executive and senior management teams. I restrict the number of clients I work with so I can always be at my best for them - and I don't work with everyone, only those who are really committed to making the changes they want. I have a dog and a cat (they don't participate in coaching sessions)! I do mindfulness meditation for around 10 minutes most days (sometimes longer, sometimes not at all) - every little helps, and even a little makes a big difference to improving focus, performance, stress management... My favourite cocktail is an Old Fashioned. I have a strong interest in psychology and neuroscience - particularly focussed on how we can get our minds to work their best and how we can be happy. I have my own coach - because having a coach is great! The Campion School aims to be an outstanding Roman Catholic school with a strong and united community in which everyone contributes to the school’s religious and educational objectives. Hall Farm Eastoft has been farmed by the Coulman family for some 150 years or more and over time the land has produced a wide range of arable crops and been home to cattle, pigs, chickens and more recently alpacas. Extending to around 235 hectares (575 acres) of land the farm grow wheat, oilseed rape, sugar beet, potatoes and grass, as well as maintaining an extensive environmental scheme to enhance the natural habitat. It is important to us to farm to the highest environmental, sustainable and welfare standards which means we subscribe to a range of key industry standards and generate much of our energy and resources from sustainable sources. As members of Red Tractor Assurance schemes for both crop production and our pig production, as well as Freedom Food, British Quality Pork and Global Animal Partnership schemes for our pigs, we ensure that all our produce meets high production standards and enters the food chain. We generate all our power from our Solar PV system, powering lights, feed systems, grain driers and our vehicles and use a Biomass boiler to provide heat. In addition, around 90% of our water use is either borehole sourced or from rainwater harvesting ensuring we minimise our use of mains, treated water and rely on naturally produced water. The farm has hosted educational visits for many years, supported by Natural England’s environmental schemes, and has developed this educational support since 2017 into a social farm engaging with young people and adults, empowering them to develop skills to enrich their learning, wellbeing and social life. With our focus on sustainable, environmentally friendly farming coupled with our increasing community of social farmers, here at Hall Farm Eastoft we aim to provide a community farming operation benefiting the environment and the local community.
