The first Wollaton Arts Festival was in 2016 with a 4 day event bringing creative arts opportunities to community spaces in Wollaton. We have since built on this to develop further creative experiences for people of all ages, through our Wollaton Art Space and extending the festival to 9 days of activities. We link with the local schools, artists, venues, groups and open spaces to create a diverse programme for all. There are opportunities for people to come together to share food, music, singing, drama, photography and varied creative art activities. We have been lucky enough to work with lots of artists and creative practitioners, as well as local community, culture, nature and heritage groups.

Welcome to your virtual creative community! When the world began searching for creative outlets while safe at home, we immediately pivoted with virtual weekly painting and drawing classes to keep people connecting safely(virtually). Our art community in little Liverpool grew exponentially in only a few days after going virtual and now we provide classes as fr as Paris, India,  Italy, Africa and so many beautiful places across the world! Our studio classes online and in-person continue to offer support, comprehensive art education and connection through creative experiences as a virtual and in-person arts community.

T.I.M.E. is founded on the belief that music is for everyone. We’re an Essex-based charity devoted to breaking down barriers and bringing people of all ages and abilities together to experiment, grow, and have fun through music. Our events are designed to be accessible and inclusive to people with special needs, mental health challenges, and dementia. All are welcome, and no previous music knowledge is required.  We don’t believe in rules or limits — music is for anytime, anywhere, and anyone. Our ever-evolving collection of musical experiences includes therapeutic and sensory-based relaxation sessions, songwriting workshops, instrument tuition, and other forms of creative and physical expression. We’ve brought these fun, free-flowing creative experiences to educational institutions, care facilities, recovery and treatment centers, and more.  Our work is made possible through charitable contributions; donations are welcome and appreciated. Creative is an international development organization dedicated to supporting people around the world to realize the positive change they seek.PAKISTAN Reading Project Pakistan is one of the few countries where illiteracy rates are actually increasing. Government statistics show that primary school enrollment is only 66 percent, which means some 7.2 million children are not in classrooms. The Pakistan Reading Project is a national program aimed at improving the quality of reading education in more than 23,000 public schools. It is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. Under the International Rescue Committee’s purview, along with 10 local and international partners, Creative is delivering high-quality pre-service teacher education, training and professional development with an explicit focus on teaching reading. It will improve management throughout the education system through policy support and enhanced information, planning and monitoring systems. Complementing education initiatives by the Pakistan government, USAID and other international partners, the Pakistan Reading Project will promote a culture of reading nationally by improving organizations’ abilities to promote educational research, advocacy and reform, as well as expanding the number of colleges and universities offering rigorous teacher training and specialized education degrees. The Pakistan Reading Project will advance and develop the reading instruction skills of 94,000 teachers over the next five years and is expected to reach 3.2 million boys and girls with improved reading programs. The program will specially target underserved rural communities where access to elementary education is limited.

She received such a positive response that she decided to leave teaching to devote all of her time developing Engineering For Kids. The Program’s Success Today Since its inception, this program has changed the lives of more than 350,000 students.
