Come and join Supported Loving's Community of Practice for anyone working with people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people delivering relationships and sex education, this can be formally groups or informally within your job role. Working in this area can be challenging but as a community we can grow and learn - there is always something new to learn! Each month we will take a topic to discuss and reflect upon what are the challenges and what has worked/ positive approaches. Each session will include a case study to explore , a section where we share our favourite resources to use on this topic and space to discuss our practice surrounding this topic. CRITIQUE draws together scholars from across Schools and Colleges at University of Edinburgh in a dynamic hub for ethical and critical analysis of urgent social challenges such as climate change, economic exploitation, racial segregation, gender oppression, and political violence. Deeply committed to methodological pluralism, its members deploy a variety of methodological approaches to political and social theory, ranging from analytic philosophical methods to genealogy, from history of political thought to immanent critique, from feminist and critical race theoretical methodologies to legal analysis. Work produced at the Centre contributes to the excellent intellectual environment of the university and aims to intervene effectively in public debates. Thematically, we build on three interrelated and mutually sustaining pillars, around which we will stimulate interdisciplinary and experimental conversations: Ethics, Critique and Praxis.

The Bachelor of Architecture programme leads to an Ordinary or Honours degree and to exemption from Part 1 of the Examination in Architecture of the ARB/ RIBA at the end of Year 3 full-time study or Year 4 part-time study. The full-time mode takes a minimum of three years for the Ordinary degree and four years for the Honours degree. Full-time students normally undertake a year of practical training in an approved architect's office between Years 3 and 4. First year students have the opportunity to work with students from across the range of disciplines delivered at GSA through two collaborative courses - details here. BArch is also available as a part-time mode which takes a minimum of four years for the Ordinary degree. Students undertaking this part-time mode must be employed in an approved architect's office. Applications to the part-time mode should be made directly to the school.
