I am a goldsmith, an artist, a craftsperson, a dreamer and a maker. I take great pride in being part of a long chain of makers who have carried on the tradition of handmade jewellery. The permanence, longevity and portability of jewellery provides a rich history in the story of being human. I am proud that my work is part of so many stories of love, celebration and joy. My work is influenced by the play of line and form found in nature and architecture. I enjoy exploring the drama of mixed materials, textures, and surface treatments in my work. I use these influences to create pieces that are contemporary and will stand the test of time. All of my designs are made in my studio in the UK. I specialise in small batch production runs meaning that my work is never mass-produced and is crafted with my own hands. I also offer bespoke commission pieces for those in search of unique and personal items to commemorate special occasions and life events. See my blog page for more details of bespoke work. ETHICS As a human, a mother and a maker I endeavour to be as environmentally responsible as I can in all my practices. This means using recycled precious metal in all my designs, sourcing precious gems through ethical suppliers and using packaging made of FSC Eco materials. I aim to keep business and workshop waste at an absolute minimum, I recycle everything I can and I use no harsh chemicals in my processes. All that said I am not perfect but I do my very best to be responsible. I keep myself educated and informed about what best options are available to me as a maker and promote those ideas and ethics onto my customers and students.

We are located just a couple of miles east of Elgin in beautiful rural surroundings. Sarah's Pet Services is owned and run by myself, Sarah Young with the indispensible help of my wonderful team, Lisa, Ilona, Lianne, Sam & Elaine. Since opening in 2017 we have proved to be a very popular pet services business. Covering Fochabers to Elgin to Lossiemouth we offer dog walking in groups or solo walks, pet pop in visits for puppies/older dogs, cat/small animal visits to care for your pets while you are away and horse care visits. Fully insured, we offer a free meet and greet visit prior to carrying out any care for your furbabies. In 2019 I decided to pursue my dream of having dog kennels, where I could offer exisiting and new customers a safe and comfortable place for their dogs to stay while they are away. I wanted to create a peaceful surrounding with emphasis on regular attention and proper exercise for my doggie guests. We have a block of 5 spacious kennels each with their own runs. Each dog is let out of their kennel 4 times a day and we are lucky to have a lovely onsite walk where we take the dogs twice a day for their walks. In addition, we now have an onsite 2 acre secure field for dogs who aren't allowed off lead to run and play in. I recognise every dogs needs are different, therefore I offer two packages depending on amount of exercise you wish your dog to get. Once they started in full time education, Tracy went back to college and after that there was no stopping her! She achieved the L3 Advanced National Certificate in Floristry, L4 Higher Diploma in Floristry and the Certificate in Education within 5 years whilst running her own retail florist shop in Kent. Tracy then completed the Master Diploma in January 2014; the highest qualification you can receive in the UK with Distinction and also received the highest grade throughout the UK for the practical exam. Furthermore, She also attends numerous CPD courses to ensure she retains her position in the industry. Tracy understands what a vital tool CPD is and has had the opportunity to attend the House of Commons on behalf of Institute for Learning Skills Council to talk about her own subject specialism and how it enhances the industry. She completed the training to become a fully certified Modified Pilates teacher in 2003 with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. Jo lives with her husband, daughter, their son and a springer spaniel in Barnsley and loves keeping herself fit by attending Bootcamp sessions, personal training and running. She is aiming to do her first half marathon soon. In 2006 Jo set up Flex Pilates, originally teaching classes in North Sheffield. Since then the business has expanded to Leeds and Barnsley with people of all ages and abilities enjoying the benefits of this popular exercise. Since Christopher drowned I/RASS have educated over 500.000 young people and adults across North Wales UK and Ireland as to the dangers of open water. From the beginning I wanted to create a Legacy which would leave a memorable impact on both young people and adults in making them more aware of their own and others safety. The strain on our emergency services over the years and ongoing research has proved that CPR First Aid and SABL Education particularly in Wales was not on our curriculum and therefore in 2021 RASS in Partnership with Ajuda Training will provide this extra service across Wales. This would help in many ways to reduce incidents where people were rescued and aid in the saving of lives using the education taught on a peer to peer basis. RASS works with all the emergency services across the UK and is proud to be involved in the – All Wales Drowning Prevention Strategy of which members are RLSS RNLI ROSPA CFOA MPA to name but a few. Awards RASS has received recognition from Emergency Services across the UK and beyond. Awards such as Free To Network Resilience In Business – Finalist Pride of Britain – Special Achievement Award National Lottery Awards – presented By Bear Grylls – WCVA Award – Liverpool Lifestyle Award – Special Achievement The project is needed as there is not enough Water Safety and Lifesaving Education. Young people take risks, drink alcohol, and put their lives and others in danger.
