In 1983 at a time of record high unemployment a group of local business leaders came together. Their vision? Create an organisation that would enable young people to develop the future skills they needed to obtain work and forge successful careers, while benefiting the community. This organisation became North Wales Training. It steadily grew, responding to local employment challenges. It built strong relationships with private and public sector partners. And it cultivated expert knowledge in the key skills people of the area needed to be successful in modern workplaces. Having already formed a work-based learning partnership with Coleg Llandrillo and Arfon Dwyfor Training Ltd, it was only natural for North Wales Training to partner with the emergent umbrella organisation Grŵp Llandrillo Menai (GLlM) when this was established in 2012. That the Grwp - the largest education provider in Wales - decided to acquire North Wales Training fully in 2018 is a testament to the reputation North Wales Training had earned itself. Over 38 years the company has raised the prospects of thousands of people and businesses on its own and in partnership with leading education providers, always keeping step with the times. It draws on its rich heritage and wealth of experience to offer a comprehensive range of high-quality innovative programmes, training and job opportunities. As we navigate another challenging decade, the staff at North Wales Training continue to work tirelessly in pursuit of the company’s vision, that "all our learners will succeed." THE VISION, MISSION & CORE VALUES Vision All our learners will succeed. Mission North Wales Training is committed to helping people gain skills and qualifications for employability, so that they are equipped for productive, sustainable and fulfilling employment in a modern economy. I am extremely happy with the service provided by North Wales Training to ATS over the past 3 years. We have recruited a number of young people from the Traineeship Programme. The service is fantastic and Donna has been a great help in particular. I am extremely happy to continue using North Wales Training in the future and would like to thank them for their continued support! ANTHONY BEACH - ATS EUROMASTER Her confidence has grown immensely since she started and completed her level 3 diploma. Being given the opportunity to be a supervisor and to complete her Health and Social Care Apprenticeship training has made a huge difference to her. I believe it is because she has a fantastic assessor who has empowered her to show her full potential. Top marks for all involved, always a pleasure to deal with North Wales Training. Poppy Loves London

poppy loves london

Hello and welcome! I’m delighted you found me here in my little corner of the internet. When I started blogging in 2010 on a very clunky laptop, I had no clue at all that Poppy Loves London and all that it encompasses, would become my full time and very much loved job. Here you’ll find me writing about things I love now and have loved over the years, including my favourite fashion finds, travel destinations, recipes, homeware and coffee haunts. I’ve written endlessly about cosy cafes to hide away in and fancy restaurants for celebrations, my latest beauty finds, bakeries (the cake!) gorgeous interiors, books I’ve adored and all things knitwear. Oh, and jumpsuits. (Oh, and dresses…) And of course, you can’t shut me up about my home city, London. What a place it is… I have over a decade of experience in working in branding, social media and communications so I understand the influencer world from both sides, which has been incredibly valuable over the years and has meant that I have been able to work with and support some of my favourite brands and businesses. If you are interested in working with me, please see this page. Having this background in business has also enabled me to set up my Instagram Masterclasses for Small Businesses and my Instagram Course for Small Businesses. Helping people drive more business and revenue via their Instagram accounts is something I’m immensely proud of – I’ve loved every second. I live in Walthamstow, London with my husband and daughter, Isabelle, who was born in 2018. After a fairly traumatic few months for us all, while she suffered enormously with reflux, we all popped out the other end with a huge sigh of relief and she is now a proper walking, talking human and the funniest person I know. She can also out-eat me in crumpets, which you should know, is exceptionally impressive. Thank you for all your support over the years, through the ups and downs, through pregnancy and pandemics – it’s been such a pleasure to write for you all and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings… Eva x

Timperley

JOHN CASHIN A* TUITION is a well established tutoring business, permanently based at Timperley Community Centre, Altrincham, specialising in KS1 and KS2 Maths and English; tutoring children from the ages of 5 to 11. All tuition is one-to-one private with all abilities catered for and tailored to each child’s individual needs. Grammar school entrance exam preparation plays a major role in the business, including Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning, mock exams, etc. John Cashin says: “Although many parents enrol their children for tuition in either Yr. 4 or 5, it really is never too early to begin and I am delighted when parents of younger children enrol them for tuition. This is because almost all children develop gaps in their understanding of school work which, if not promptly addressed, can grow year-on-year into more significant problems. I see many children who, had they been brought to me for tutoring at an earlier stage in their education, could have achieved so much more. The good news is that, if these problems are “nipped in the bud,” they can invariably be eliminated, giving the child a distinct advantage. Also, a good understanding of the curriculum can play an important role in alleviating frustrations which, if left unaddressed, often give rise to behavioural problems. There is no substitute for personal time spent with an experienced tutor. The children appreciate the opportunity to ask me about things they have not grasped at school and their confidence, ability and enthusiasm increases exponentially as they see the benefits for themselves. Whatever a child’s level of ability, it can be reinforced and developed – and we really do see some very rewarding transformations. Even if your child attends a private prep school, this is no guarantee of success and you would be well advised to seek the services of a good tutor. For example, the father of a Yr. 4 boy who attends one such school, remarked to me recently, after attending parents’ evening at his son’s school: “Looking at his school books, you can draw a line at the point when he started at John Cashin Tuition – the improvement is that evident!” This is typical of the comments we receive from parents.

Previous Next Featured Feedback Superbly delivered and very effective Bluecloud was the fourth training company that we called. We wanted to speak to someone that gave us confidence that they had achieved success before and were able to be flexible in their approach. When we spoke to Penny that is exactly what we got! Booking the training has been easy; Penny has been extremely friendly and helpful throughout. When we are promised information we get it, when we are told something will happen, it happens. This has been the way and continues to be the way that Bluecloud conducts their business each and every time we have the pleasure of dealing with them. The training itself has been well structured, superbly delivered and very effective. It is a package you are purchasing when you deal with Bluecloud, not just a day’s training. Finally, I would like to thank you for all your hard work so far. We already have future sessions planned in, that I am sure will be as successful as the ones we have already had this last year. It has been a pleasure dealing with Bluecloud; Penny & her associates.
