Currently, you may not have to complete a D1 qualification if in one of these voluntary driving roles, in which case the MiDAS training is seen as a minimum requirement in most sectors. The Motor Vehicles Regulations 1999 allows the driving of minibuses under clearly defined conditions by drivers who hold a category B entitlement but have not passed a D1 (Minibus) driving test. Our workshops have served as intense social learning sessions and therapeutic retreats to adults, and our children’s workshops have helped children express themselves and make large strides in their artistic endeavours. As reflected in our principles, all our sessions are inclusive of people with special education needs (SEN) and learning difficulties. We have helped children with SEN develop their confidence and become more involved in art. Our approach to teaching and learning is focused on using art to build a creative local community founded on principles of inclusivity. We provide a platform to showcase the work of our creatives via our Group Exhibitions - we also host and take part in national events such as The Big Draw and Lumiere London - the UK’s biggest light festival - and in local events like the Fabula Festival. We run pop-ups, co-operate with businesses alongside our workshops, and collaborate with non-profit organisations in addition to organising after school clubs with local schools. During his time in Germany, Ganesh also attained a European Driving License and garnered many praises for his driving talent from his instructor. In his early 20s, Ganesh steered his career trajectory towards corporate opportunities and worked his way up to several managerial positions. But one of Ganesh's keen interests has always been to establish his own business. Consequently, after establishing his family life, he channelled his passion for driving and teaching into his career and commenced his endeavour to become a driving instructor. At the beginning of his journey, Ganesh taught at a local driving school for five years, where he developed his expertise and expanded his clientele. The next phase of Ganesh's journey was to establish AAA STAR Driving School, with the support of his spouse and three children (the namesake of the company).

My name is Ruth, the owner of Bubble and Squeak. My professional background is in primary teaching, which I did for 15 years, before leaving in 2021 to concentrate on my business. I am also a mum of three small children. Having a family meant a change of lifestyle was needed and I wanted to start doing something I’m passionate about – cooking! I gained my level 2 in food safety and hygiene and a diploma in child nutrition and set about creating Bubble and Squeak. My own children love cooking and we can often be found in the kitchen baking yummy treats to eat. One of my children is a very picky eater so I try to be creative in the things we cook and try to involve him in the creative process. There are so many benefits to being in the kitchen; children can learn so many skills that they will carry into adulthood. At Bubble and Squeak, our mission is to teach children a range of kitchen skills whilst they learn about nutrition and making healthy choices. These skills include measuring ingredients, knife safety and hygiene, to name a few. These activities can also help develop their fine motor skills and language skills. In addition to this, children will be introduced to foods they might not have tried before. We do this in a fun and safe environment and at the end of each session they will take away something delicious to try. *We can offer recipes that are gluten or dairy free if required and all of our recipes are nut free
