Our story....When Sarah & Simon met in 2007, Sarah had just renovated her home and Simon had no idea what change of direction was coming his way! A few years on, after the birth of their son, they both recognised that they had more in common than just love!  Their passion for creatively ReUsing everyday items became fun and constant ReThinking anything from a shells to furniture to their most recent project an Upfurbished Lodge ReTreat in Suffolk. With Interior Design experience Sarah started to incorporate ReUsing in her schemes, recognising a “gem” that needed some ReLoving and clients started to offer her pieces to upcycle. Not long after she had her first furniture sale and commissions followed!  And so ReVamp Boutique was born! With basic carpentry skills from school Simon started to adapt some of the pieces under Sarah’s design eye and soon Simon took an interest in the upholstery side making this a formidable creative team. Sarah’s passion is to share some ReVamp secrets, and returning to her teaching experience she  gleaned at a local college, she now runs creative ReUse workshops which are not just sustainable but fun, sociable, excellent for your well being and the best gifts for family, friends and loved ones! The business has now undertaken many commissions, with Simon now an accomplished upholsterer and Sarah a furniture artist seen at Grand Designs and Westfield Stratford & London. The couple now have premises to run their workshops, take commissions and sell their statement furniture as well as their Retreat, the complete ReVamp experience, available for booking now. My name is Alison Mayston, I run a small craft business called The Craft Loft which I set up 7 years ago with the help of The Prince’s Trust. Through my business I sell and teach a wide range of crafts including Fused Glass, Silver Clay, Polymer Clay and Zentangle drawing.  I also stock a range of kits that are a workshop in a bag with all the materials and instructions needed to complete something unique. The workshops provide people with a taster session for them to learn something new, and they are a great way to sit and relax and not think about all the stress of our busy everyday life.  They are an introduction to discover all a about what a  new craft has to offer. The ethos of the Craft Loft is to unlock your creative side and turn ideas into reality. Our wonderfull countryside location offers the perfect setting for the whole art therapy experience, learn something new and get away from the hum drum of a busy life. There is no minimum limit to my workshops as sometimes people just need some space.  I am happy to come out to a group setting and looking for any opportunities to set up  regular Craft Group sessions.  I am a WI Speaker and am more than ahppy to do a zoom session. Bespoke seesions such as mother and daughter sessions and hen parties are a great way to enjoy craft together.

EEO aims to meet the needs of people who face barriers to participation in education because of factors such as cost, location or timing of courses. EEO works flexibly by offering affordable and sometimes free courses in the workplace and in community venues. The tutors are all professionally qualified and experienced and courses are devised to meet the needs of groups and individuals, whether this be for personal enrichment or enhancing employability.
