The Eastern Training Alliance is a not-for-profit organisation that has been operating for over 25 years, we are predominantly based in North Essex, South Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. The group provides training for agriculture, arboriculture & related land-based-industries offering a wide range of quality courses. Our aim is to provide high quality, relevant training at convenient local venues for rural businesses, our courses are open to both members & non-member’s of the group.

arborist training institute - japan

The Arborist Training Institute is the only arborist training organization in Japan recognized by the international organization ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) headquartered in the United States. We aim to disseminate arborist technology and knowledge in Japan. The goal is to acquire an ISA-certified international tree worker/climber specialist. The goal is to acquire the ISA-recommended, JAA/ATI-certified Tree Climbing Arborist®. We will provide various courses of arborist technology of international safety standards that match the needs of work, Japanese climate and trees. In addition to disseminating arborist technology in Japan, ATI will make efforts to prevent occupational accidents in the arborist industry by focusing on treetop rescue TARS seminars.

The Story of Mindmaps Wellbeing; After spending a solid 18 years working in various roles for the NHS, Tim recognized the significance of applying a preventative approach to mental ill health. He believed that educating workplaces and communities on the importance of mental health first aid and awareness training would equip individuals with the necessary tools to look after their own mental wellbeing and to support others.  By teaching people, the early signs of poor mental health, Tim hoped to prevent potential crises from occurring. With a sharp vision in mind, Tim shared his ambition with his friend Mikey, who was a business development manager with extensive operations experience. Recognising the value of Tim's project, Mikey eagerly joined forces to help him achieve this goal.

We offer complete training packages including chainsaw maintenance, tree felling courses, tree climbing and aerial rescue courses, pesticide safety and land based machinery training including stump grinders and wood chippers. A&J ARB Training is averaging a 98.3% pass rate for all of our candidates which are something that we are very proud of. All of our courses are delivered to enable candidates to receive an NPTC city and guilds certificate of competence. Our centre is just a 10-minute drive from JNC 29 of the m1. So we are an ideal choice for anyone in Chesterfield, Mansfield, Sheffield, Nottingham areas looking to do any of our courses. With over 1000 acres of woodland, and a fully equipped work shop we have all of the bases covered to ensure that you have the best training experience possible. A&J Arb Training are also fully qualified and insured to carry out LOLER inspection to all types of arboriculture equipment. We can either travel to a site to carry out the inspections or equipment can be dropped of to our training centre where one of our qualified technician’s will inspect the equipment and complete a thorough record of examination. LOLER inspections are required by law, and apply to anyone working at height.
