One of the most highly-acclaimed films of the 2010s (and rightly so), Bong Joon-Ho's 2019 masterpiece Parasite explores the crushing forces of social hierarchy, the deceptive nature of hope and familial bonds in a story that crosses several different genres in a tight, twisty manner.

The Kim family live in a deprived area of Seoul, and must work together through trickery and manipulation to convince the much wealthier Park family to hire them as servants. As lies and deceptions mount atop one another, the Kims make a startling discovery that will push their abilities and reveal the darker side hidden in all of them.
