A basic electrophysiology course for healthcare professionals with an interest in electrophysiology. From diagnosis through to treatment this two day face to face course introduces delegates to the world of cardiac electrophysiology. Differentiating arrhythmias on an ECG, loop recorder trace or device EGM through to acute medical management and when ablations should be recommended. We'll then guide you through real EP video cases discussing the ins and outs of each procedure along the way.
Including live discussion of pre-recorded real-life cases from start to finish.

- SVT diagnosis - interpretation of SVTs on ECGs, implanted loop recorders and device EGM interpretation
- Types of SVT
- Acute management of SVTs, when are EP procedures required
- Differentiating SVTs in the cath lab - 4 wire studies and pacing maneuvers
- Live discussion of pre-recorded real-life cases where a physiologist and consultant discuss the case from start to finish and delegates have the opportunity to ask questions throughout

Methods of payment for the 2 day course:
This is an introductory course designed for all healthcare professionals who are interested in learning about cardiac electrophysiology. Including (but not limited to): nurses, physiologists, junior doctors, students, support workers, A&E doctors, paramedics etc.
For example:
You may see patients in A&E or primary care with SVTs and want to learn what happens throughout their pathway
You may work on the ward and see these patients before and after having ablations and wonder what goes on
You may work in the cath labs and want to understand more about whats happening during those EP cases
You may be about to sit your BHRS devices exam and would like to prepare for the basic EP section
