The true nature of fire
Identifying and reducing fire hazards in the workplace
Maintaining the fire safety provision in the workplace
Action upon discovering a fire
The role of the fire warden
How to select and safely use an appropriate fire extinguisher for a particular fire type
Making an assessment of personal safety in using fire extinguishers
The course will be assessed using continual assessment
Who is this course suitable for?
Personnel who have been nominated by their employer as Fire Marshals/Fire Wardens.
