CCHRC has been specially designed to provide training for anyone who has functional responsibility for controlling health risks on a construction site, such as site supervisors and site managers.
The course is split into two modules:
Module 1: Identifying Health Hazards on Construction Site (online pre-reading module before the course)
Module 2: Controlling Health Risks in Construction (face-to-face teaching over one day).

Health risks on construction sites
Chemical hazards
Physical hazards
Ergonomic hazards
Principles of control
Personal protective equipment
How is the course assessed?
There is a multiple-choice examination at the end of the course, to test the candidate's learning and for which the training provider will invigilate. Upon successful completion, candidates receive a course completion certificate.
